After witnessing the role that dehydration played in causing his grandfather’s kidney disease, Nithit understood the severity of dehydration in causing serious health consequences, especially among the more vulnerable elderly. With the limited existing solutions for this issue, Nithit decided to take initiative and create a simple and reliable device that supports regular hydration for older adults: HydroPulse.
HydroPulse is a smart hydration support device designed for seniors. Built to address the serious risks of dehydration, HydroPulse uses simple, user-friendly reminders to help older adults maintain healthy hydration without relying on memory or complex technology.

One of the first water reminder devices that tracks real water intake while working with any bottle or cup. HydroPulse delivers personalized audio reminders based on actual intake and is designed to be user-friendly for anyone to use. Operating without apps or devices such as phones or tablets, HydroPulse promotes digital detox while remaining affordable and simple.
How it works:
Selection of hourly consumption goal
Once turning on HydroPulse, users will press the circular scale to select or adjust their personalised hourly water consumption goal of 150, 200, or 250 ml.
Calibration of Drinking Vessel
Next, users will place their empty drinking vessel onto their HydroPulse and allow it to automatically calibrate. The device will remain calibrated to the drinking vessel unless another one is used.
Adding Water to the Drinking Vessel

After calibration, users are instructed to add water to the empty drinking vessel. The vessel must also contain the minimum volume required to meet the selected hourly water intake. If there is insufficient water, the system will prompt users to add water until the minimum is met.
60-minute timer starts
Afterwards, the 60-minute timer will start. During the duration, the system will continuously alert users if the drinking vessel is not on the device.
HydroPulse Alerts

If the target water intake is not met within the hour, HydroPulse will simultaneously activate red flashing lights and audio prompts to guide users to drink the exact amount required. When sufficient water intake is detected, HydroPulse will automatically begin a new 60 minute cycle without any additional user input.
Works with any container
Any drinking vessel with a diameter of up to 130 mm and a combined container and water weight of up to 2000 ml or 2 kg.
